Is Andre Iguodala playing tonight vs. Celtics?

It feels like a hot minute since we saw Andre Iguodala on the basketball court for the Warriors.

The veteran swingman hasn't played since Game 4 of the Warriors' opening-round playoff series against the Denver Nuggets as he's been sidelined with a neck injury, but Iguodala is hoping to make it back onto the court this series as he chases his fourth championship with Golden State.

Prior to Game 5 of the first round, the Warriors announced that Iguodala would be out with a left cervical disc injury in his neck, with the team planning to re-evaluate him in a week's time.

Iguodala, 37, was limited to 31 regular-season games and appeared in just the first four games of the first-round playoff series.

What is Andrew Iguodala's injury?

Iguodala has been battling a left cervical disc injury. It is not known when he sustained the injury, but it was discovered following Game 4 vs. the Nuggets on Sun, April 24.

The team initially said he would be re-evaluated in a week. In early May the team announced that ‘Iggy' was making good progress and would again be re-evaluated in one week.
